Along with a crew of volunteers from PEMCO Insurance we will be celebrating Earth Day by continuing a variety of restoration work at North City Park that was stated just over a year ago.

On the 22nd we will be initiating the removal of invasive and non-native plants from the Park’s 4th restoration site. For those who prefer to help with planting, we have a recently cleared site ready for planting bare root plants. In the upper forest we have some mature trees that are in need ivy removed along with the construction of survival rings. And finally, we have two sites which require a good mulching to protect new native plants installed last Novembers as we head into our PNW summer. All of this work supports a healthy future forest of North City Park and we look forward to seeing you there!
