Summer Social 2023 is July 19th!

Community members gather in the park to connect with old and new friends for fun, food (including LOTS of free ice cream), games, music, art, and to learn what local businesses and non-profit organizations have to offer residents of this beautiful neighborhood.

Everyone knows that nothing beats summertime in Seattle—and the true highlight is the Maple Leaf Summer Social!  This event is highly-anticipated every year as over 2,000 people come together to see their friends and meet new neighbors, buy goods from their favorite businesses, discover what non-profit groups are doing to improve our community, and enjoy music, art, food, and lots of free ice cream (donated every year by Maple Leaf Ace Hardware). 

The pandemic taught us how vital connection with others is to our well-being, and there’s no better place for social and business networking than the Summer Social. Come early and stay late while appreciating the beauty of our park and the colorful and supportive community that makes Maple Leaf such a wonderful place to live. 

Planning is well underway…and there will be a special announcement about this year’s event very soon! We will need volunteers to put up flyers, to pick up items, to help us set up and take down the day of the event, and so much more. Let us know if you’re interested!
